Our Paulton, Bristol workshop is a reliable independent garage for all kinds of repair.

Central Garage was originally started in 1940's by Frank Raisey (a local builder).

Some time afterwards, Ronn Laurance took over the business for a few years where Gerald Knight carried out his apprenticeship.

Central Garage was then renamed to Berkeley motors whilst under the ownership of the Pows, where Gerald became senior Tech, Graham Hodges became the storesman and Nick Cross joined the team.

In 1981 Graham Hodges and Gerald Knight became the owners and reverted the name back to Central Garage.

In 2016, Alan Green (who has worked here at Central Garage since 2001) and Mark Gainey, (a trusted friend) became directors in the company and made the change to form Central Garage (Paulton) Ltd.

Our main focus is on building a trusted rapport with our customers, giving a personalised service to each individual. We also strive to ensure fair, transparent prices and guarantee quality of workmanship, where we aim to get you mobile again as soon as possible.

The team is happy to give you advice at any time, working out the most economical solution for you and your vehicle.  We are pro-active in our approach to your vehicle's reliability, comfort and safety.

In the workshop, your vehicle will be maintained exclusively by highly qualified technicians and fully insured whilst repairs are being carried out at the workshop.

You can also bring your vehicle in for inspection, or pop in for a chat without the need to book an appointment in advance.

Our garage is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and our technicians are updated with the latest information on developments and new techniques.
